SLIDING DOOR MECHANISMS
Our fully automated sliding door mechanisms can be used on any door type up to and in excess of 3.5 tonnes.
Emergency Exit: Sage Centre - Gateshead, UK.
Fully Automated Sliding Door Mechanisms
We have been making sliding door mechanisms since 1977 and supply and fit them all over the world.
Capable of opening and closing any type of door irrespective of size and weight, we offer both pneumatic and hydraulic operating systems which can be operated by any kind of automation from simple buttons to complex computer systems.
Below is an overview of our standard models, all of which can be adapted to suit any purpose imaginable.
Explore Our Range Of Sliding Door Mechanisms
Our sliding door mechanisms come in four basic models which can be tailored to suit your specific needs.
This gives us maximum flexibility to apply our mechanism to any kind of door.
RT45-1200 Sliding Door Mechanism
The RT45-1200 was originally designed in 1979 to provide a lintel mounted, fully integrated mechanism for sliding doors up to 1200kgs.
- Hardened steel with upper and lower Vee-Tracks give positive location and resistance to impact.
- Integral drive with powerful acceleration and smooth deceleration.
- Provision for dead latch security at end of stroke.
- Provision for position monitoring.
- Automation can be Intrinsically Safe for application in explosive areas.
- The mechanism requires no bottom trackway allowing a clean surface through the aperture.
RT460
The RT460 is an under floor (version of RT45) automation for sliding doors with Hardened steel upper and lower Vee-Tracks to give positive location and resistance to impact.
- Integral drive with powerful acceleration and smooth deceleration.
- Provision for dead latch security at end of stroke.
- Provision for position monitoring.
- Maximum door weight 1200kgs.
- Automation can be intrinsically safe for application in explosive areas.
RT50-3000
Designed in 2005 to provide a lintel mounted, fully integrated mechanism for sliding doors up to 3000kgs.
RT55-5000
Designed in 2008 to provide a lintel mounted, fully integrated mechanism for sliding doors up to 5000kgs subject to structural limitations.
